This motel is in the middle of no where. It however, does offer a nights sleep.
All in all, it was not the worst place that I have ever been to, but If I had it to do again, I would have rather drove the 30 miles.
This place is the worst place I've ever stayed at. The sheets were dirty, pillowcases dirty, shower wet like someone had just showered. Leftover food in the fridge, ancient TVs, broken air conditioner knobs, dirty mirrors, sink not cleaned. Do not ever stay here! Drive the extra miles to stay comfortable.
Grounds were ok, the staff was kind and helpful, the room had been updated with new paint, counter and sink, new shower and toilet. The room itself was clean-I found no bugs at all. the sheets were clean, but did have small holes in them. The mattress and bed was very comfortable and the room itself had no old smoking room smell.
We stayed here for a single night. We stayed in a room with a king bed. The room was very hot upon entering and smelled quite smoky / musty. I killed two cockroaches while preparing for bed and noticed ants in the bathtub coming from the faucet housing. The only pillows on the bed were the size of 12in throw pillows, and there were only two. Towels were stained and floors unswept. Aside from these issues, the price was right and it was quiet.
I would stay here if it was the only place I could drive to, which was the case for me. I did not know that about 30 miles from here was a town that had nicer motels to pick from.
I guess you get what you pay for, 50 dollars for a dirty & uncomfortable night. Should've stayed in the car & saved up
We were here for dinner. The store is ready for a refresh, but the staff did a great job, and the food was terrific.
